Arthur Butensky, MD, a pediatrician with Atlantic Medical Group, joined New Jersey Family in a video to share tips with parents about identifying scoliosis and guidance on what to do if your child is diagnosed.
He said the pre-teen and teen years are the most important to watch for scoliosis in your child, but don't panic if you notice asymmetry in your child's spine. A little bit of asymmetry is normal and can be evaluated by your child's pediatrician.
