Morristown, NJ – Atlantic Health System, an integrated health care delivery system, announced today the grand opening of AdvancED Urgent Care (333 Rt. 46 West, at Boulevard exit), a unique model of care providing advanced diagnostics, technology and treatment for minor to complex injuries and illnesses in adults and children aged 1+. The center will be staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians and nurse practitioners with an on-site ambulance available for transfer to Morristown Medical Center, as needed. The opening was celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Atlantic Health System and community leaders.
A first of its kind designed by Atlantic Health System, AdvancED Urgent Care is seamlessly connected to Morristown Medical Center, New Jersey’s #1 ranked hospital and uses Epic, the same electronic medical record as all Atlantic Health System locations for lab work, imaging, specialists, follow-up care and more.

The Mountain Lakes center will have multiple exam rooms, a procedure room, comprehensive lab services available, as well as a full range of advanced diagnostics and medical imaging, including: EKG, X-ray, ultrasound and computed tomography (CT) scans. The center will be fully equipped to handle injuries and illnesses such as sprains and fractures, chest pain, abdominal distress, allergies and will also be fully connected to Atlantic Health System’s network of care providers.
The new location will be open from Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 8:00pm and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with no appointment necessary.
