Relaunched homecare and hospice agency combines Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills and Atlantic Home Care and Hospice
Morristown, NJ – Atlantic Health System is pleased to announce that the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills (VNASH) and Atlantic Home Care and Hospice, a division of Atlantic Health System, will join to create a new home health and hospice organization, Atlantic Visiting Nurse. Atlantic Visiting Nurse will support patients throughout the entire care continuum as they move from one setting to the next, delivering the highest quality services and the personalized care they require, when and where it’s most convenient for them.
Atlantic Visiting Nurse combines the home care and hospice resources of two award-winning organizations, offering patients and their families access to Atlantic Health System’s network of seven medical centers and world-class physicians as well as VNASH’s extraordinary caregivers, a team consistently recognized as one of the United States’ top-performing home health agencies. Atlantic Visiting Nurse will care for patients recovering from surgery and illness, those managing chronic conditions, families preparing for end of life care, and individuals who need help to live independently. In addition, as a non-profit, Atlantic Visiting Nurse will benefit from a wealth of integrated philanthropic efforts, including the continuation of VNASH’s successful, biannual Rummage Sale, in support of home health initiatives.
“Welcoming the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills into the Atlantic Health System family expands our ability to fulfill our promise to provide patients with the right care, at the right cost, in the right setting,” said Brian Gragnolati, President and CEO, Atlantic Health System. “VNASH’s longstanding commitment to quality, patient satisfaction and community support make them a natural fit for our team and the best choice for our patients.”
