Chief Nursing Officer, Morristown Medical Center
Brandee Fetherman brings more than 20 years of extensive nurse management to the role of Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. Since joining Atlantic Health in 2001, she has held numerous management roles in critical care, medicine, trauma, and neurology before being promoted to CNO in 2022.
As Chief Nursing Officer, she oversees the delivery of extraordinary nursing care, nursing education and professional development, nursing quality & research and patient flow. Under Brandee’s guidance, in 2024 Morristown Medical Center achieved its sixth consecutive Magnet® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Fewer than two percent of Magnet®-designated hospitals in the United States have earned this accreditation six times, demonstrating the excellence of nursing at Morristown Medical Center.
Brandee’s leadership ensures the advancement of clinical programs, extraordinary patient experience and campus growth that continues seamlessly year after year. Brandee has been critical in the completion of a transformative five-phase expansion project to modernize the Emergency Department, nearly doubling the number of treatment areas available in a department with more than 110,000 visits annually.
She currently serves as president for the Organization of Nurse Leaders, New Jersey (ONL NJ) and a board member for the Morris Educational Foundation (MEF). She is also a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), the American Organization of Nurse Leaders (AONL), the Nursing Advisory Board for the County College of Morris (CCM), the Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae Association, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
Brandee holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ramapo College and received her Diploma of Nursing from The Mountainside School of Nursing. Brandee is also certified in Executive Nursing Practice by American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL).
