Orthopedic Patient Education and Resources

Total Joint Replacement Education

Surveys show that patients who take an educational course on total joint replacement before having their surgery are less anxious and have a more positive attitude. Atlantic Orthopedic Institute’s total joint replacement course covers preoperative preparation, postoperative care, hospital discharge instructions, physical therapy and occupational therapy.
