First Aid Training

Knowing how to act in a medical crisis can mean the difference between life and death. That’s why the Atlantic Training Center offers courses in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and basic life support (BLS) and advanced care life support (ACLS) for non-Atlantic Health System health care professionals and members of the community. In addiition, they offer first aid training to community groups, businesses, and the general public.

A six-week bereavement group for those who have experienced a recent death of a spouse or partner within the last year. The purpose of this group is to provide a safe environment where one can share feelings and experiences, and explore ways of coping with the death. The group is led by professionals trained in grief related issues and is held weekly for six weeks in a welcoming environment.
