Morristown Medical Center
A Message from Brandee Fetherman, MSN, RN, CCRN-K, Chief Nursing Office (CNO), Morristown Medical Center
As the CNO at Morristown Medical Center, I am proud to share our ongoing commitment to nursing excellence, which along with our shared values of purpose, respect, innovation, diversity, inclusion, and extraordinary caring, are all an integral part of our culture.
This culture has framed our Magnet designation form the American
Nurses Credentialing Center six times - a designation that only two
percent of all health care organizations in the world have achieved.
Nursing at our hospital has changed drastically since we opened over 125 years ago. We use evidence-based practice and research to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care, and we remain on the cutting edge of advancements in nursing and medicine. Our nurses also make an incredible contribution to the patient experience as caregivers, advocates, educators, and collaborators.
Morristown Medical Center nurses consider innovation critical to our profession. At our Center for Nursing Innovation and Research (CNIR), they work creatively to solve problems related to patient care and nurse work environment.
We also recruit and retain the highest quality nursing professionals and create pathways for their development and advancement. Our nurses are motivated and inspired to advance their profession through national certifications and advanced degrees.
In addition to Magnet, nursing’s contribution is essential to Morristown Medical Center’s many outstanding achievements.
