The neuro-oncology program at Atlantic Health System brings together a multidisciplinary team of medical experts.  These experts bridge the fields of neurology, radiology, radiation oncology, neurosurgery and medical oncology to provide comprehensive care to adults and children with brain tumors including, but not limited to:

Brain-Related Cancer Care

Because of the highly complex interaction between cancer and the human nervous system, there can be many complications to cancer care that our neuro-oncologists specialize in treating, including:

  • Metastasis to the spinal fluid (Leptomeningeal disease)
  • Peripheral neuropathy
  • Metastasis to the spinal column
  • Paraneoplastic syndromes
  • Seizures and headaches
