Patients with spasticity and gait, or walking disorders, such as those with cerebral palsy, dystonia and scoliosis, may experience complex medical problems that can limit their daily activities. At Spasticity and Gait Disorder Center at Goryeb Children's Hospital, we provide comprehensive care to infants, children and adolescents that maximizes their mobility and functional independence.
As part of Atlantic Health System Children's Health, we have a team of specialists from a variety of disciplines, including neurology, neurosurgery, physiatry, orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, physical and occupational therapy, developmental pediatrics, orthotics, nursing and social work. They’ll collaborate to diagnose your child’s condition and provide appropriate, individualized short- and long-term medical treatment.
