Children of Lesbians and Gays Everywhere (COLAGE)
- COLAGE unites people with one or more lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and/or asexual parent into a network of peers and supports them as they nurture and empower each other to be skilled, self-confident, and just leaders in our collective communities.
EDGE-NJ
- The mission of EDGE New Jersey is to respond compassionately and responsibly to those living with HIV, those at risk, and the LGBTQ+ communities by providing supportive services, housing opportunities, prevention strategies, and education to enhance the community we serve.
Gay Activist Alliance in Morris County
- GAAMC is a not-for-profit volunteer-run organization that provides social, educational, and outreach programs. GAAMC also offers opportunities for individuals to become politically active on issues related to the GLBTI community. Our intent is to maintain a positive, healthy, respectful and supportive environment in a safe space.
Garden State Equality
- The largest LGBTQ+ advocacy organization in New Jersey, promoting civil rights, best practices and education. They work to address safe environments for youth, improvement of health services that meet LGBTQIA+ community needs, and respectful treatment of seniors. GSE also supports New Jersey’s activist community by bringing an LGBTQIA+ lens to the shared struggle for justice.
Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN)
- GLSEN works to ensure that LGBTQ students are able to learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment. Together we can transform our nation's schools into the safe and affirming environment all youth deserve. They have a Central NJ Chapter and a Southern NJ Chapter.
HiTOPS
- HiTOPS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that fosters strong and healthy young people of all identities by providing inclusive and youth-informed sex education and LGBTQ+ support for young people throughout New Jersey.
Hyacinth
- To help people live with HIV, stop the spread of the epidemic, and serve as a critical voice in the public debate surrounding AIDS in New Jersey.
LGBT Rain Foundation
- Our mission is to help young adults in between the age 18-26 by providing emergency shelter, transitional housing, and permanent supportive housing services to address the emergent need of LGBTQ individuals experiencing crisis leading to homeless.
North Jersey Community Resource Initiative
- NJCRI uses holistic approaches to support LGBTQ youth in building a foundation of self-reliance, self-esteem, and self-confidence to promote individual and community-based sustainability. We envision a world where LGBTQ youth are empowered to respect and love themselves, and their communities.
Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG)

The Pride Center of New Jersey
- To provide a safe and welcoming space for all individuals who identify as LGBTQ+ to find support, educational tools, health and education resources, and social opportunities within a community of acceptance. Comprehensive programming in support of this mission includes lesbian, gay, trans and family resources, social groups and free HIV testing.

RAD Family
- North Jersey Pride’s social network for families of transgender and gender-expansive youth. By connecting youth and their caregivers with other RAD families, both can find community as these young people navigate growing into their authentic selves.
Transgender Information Hub (nj.gov)
- The Transgender Information Hub is a central resource for the transgender and non-binary community in New Jersey that provides guidance and answers to common questions. The site features critical information from nearly a dozen agencies in a supportive, user-friendly format.

Human Rights Campaign
- The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) is the largest LGBTQ civil rights organization in the United States. The organization focuses on protecting and expanding rights for LGBTQ+ individuals in schools, workplaces, hospitals, and communities.
The Fenway Institute National LGBTQIA+ Education Center
- The National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center provides educational programs, resources, and consultation to health care organizations with the goal of optimizing quality, cost-effective health care for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and all sexual and gender minority (LGBTQIA+) people.
Gay & Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA)
- GLMA is the world’s oldest and largest association of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) and allied health professionals. They focus on advancing health equity for the LGBTQ+ community through research, advocacy, and education.
Advocates for Trans Equality
- Established in 2024 through a merger of two national trans civil rights organizations, the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE) and Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund (TLDEF). Policy experts, litigators, and community organizers work at all levels of government to ensure trans voices are not only heard but embraced in rooms where they've long been ignored. As a trans-led nonprofit, we also help our community navigate the realities of law and policy through vital tools, knowledge, and services.
The World Professional Association for Transgender Health
- The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, interdisciplinary professional and educational organization devoted to transgender health. Our professional, supporting, and student members engage in clinical and academic research to develop evidence-based medicine and strive to promote a high quality of care for transsexual, transgender, and gender-nonconforming individuals internationally.
