Substance Use Disorder Services

Overcoming substance misuse is a difficult process, but through careful evaluation and individual determination, it can be accomplished. At Atlantic Behavioral Health, our outpatient substance use disorder (SUD) programs help adults and adolescents overcome substance abuse issues, while remaining at home, at school or on the job.

Treatment options for drug and alcohol abuse include:

  • Intensive outpatient services
  • Early intervention
  • Relapse prevention
  • Aftercare services
  • Referrals to detoxification services
  • Dual diagnosis programs for both chemical and mental health issues
  • Medications for Addiction Treatment
We also offer a state-approved Intoxicated Driving Program (IDP) program at Hackettstown Medical Center.

Substance Use Disorder Treatment is available at Hackettstown Medical Center, Newton Medical Center, Morristown Medical Center and Overlook Medical Center outpatient services.

Naxolone for New Jersey Residents

A pioneering initiative has been introduced in New Jersey, offering individuals aged 14 and above the opportunity to acquire naloxone without identification and free of charge. This program is available at select pharmacies throughout the state. Its distinctiveness lies in its ability to provide access to naloxone—an essential medication for countering opioid overdoses—with anonymity.
