Body Mass Index, or BMI calculators, have been the basic standard by which the average patient can help determine his or her eligibility for weight loss surgery. The BMI calculator can both describe what weight category you fall into and help you track your weight with a simple easy-to-understand number.

BMI calculations are approximate values and are intended to be used only as a rough guide. BMI calculators do not take into account muscle structure and age. Calculate your BMI below:

How to Read the BMI Calculation

What Your Results Mean:

  • Normal 18.5-24.9
  • Overweight 25-29.9
  • Obese I 30-34.9
  • Obese II 35-39.9
  • Morbid Obesity 40 and above
