Our maternal fetal medicine physicians are part of a multi-faceted health care team, including physicians, genetic counselors, registered ultrasonographers, perinatal nurses and certified diabetes educators.
Atlantic Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians, also called perinatologists, work with you and your regular obstetrician to develop a care plan. Though there may be several appointments with our specialists, your obstetrician will continue to manage the pregnancy and deliver your baby. Our perinatologists are usually not present at delivery, but are available for consultation as needed.
All physicians are board-certified obstetricians, gynecologists and maternal fetal medicine specialists.
