Overlook Dental Center's General Practice Residency is a 12-month program that runs from July 1st to June 30th. The program admits three residents every year and focuses on all aspects of general dentistry, patient care, and didactic education. Further expansion of a resident's dental and medical healthcare education is accomplished through mandatory rotations within Overlook Medical Center's - Emergency, Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, and Family Practice Departments. The goal of the program is to build upon the residents' graduate education by reinforcing and fine tuning their skills, promoting patient focused care and thus building confidence in our dental practitioners.
