Postgraduate Year One (PGY-1)

Verina Megala

Dr. Megala is from Montville, NJ and earned her pharmacy degree from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in May 2025. Her current professional interests include pediatrics, emergency medicine, and teaching. This year, she is looking forward to expanding her clinical knowledge and skill set through the numerous clinical opportunities and mentorship offered at Atlantic Health.

In the future, she hopes to pursue a PGY2 residency program and practice as a clinical pharmacist, with the opportunity to mentor and support future pharmacy learners.

Madison Silvestri

Dr. Silvestri is from Roseland, NJ and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health degrees from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in May 2025. Her current professional interests include critical care and emergency medicine. She chose to pursue a PGY1 residency at Atlantic Health because of the wide variety of critical care electives offered, and she is excited to continue to explore her interests and grow as a pharmacist. Her future career plans include pursuing a PGY2 pharmacy residency and practicing as a clinical pharmacist.

Amel Youssef

Dr. Youssef grew up in New Jersey and completed her undergraduate studies at Montclair State University before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Rutgers University in 2025. Her passion for emergency medicine, critical care and infectious diseases was shaped by hands-on experiences during clinical rotations, where she thrived in high-pressure settings and valued being part of fast-paced, collaborative teams. Dr. Youssef aspires to build a career that blends clinical excellence with mentorship and community engagement. She chose to pursue a PGY1 residency at Atlantic Health because of its extensive clinical opportunities, supportive, and welcoming staff.

Looking ahead, she hopes to complete a PGY2 pharmacy residency and build a rewarding career as a clinical pharmacist and dedicated preceptor.

Sarah Yu

Dr. Yu is from Pennington, NJ and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in May 2025. Her current professional interests include pediatrics and critical care. She is excited to explore the diverse and unique opportunities available at Atlantic Health System and is committed to growing as a well-rounded clinical pharmacist.

Her future career plans include pursuing a PGY2 residency and practicing as a clinical pharmacist and preceptor.

Angela Bonetti

Dr. Bonetti is from Berkeley Heights, NJ and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Eshelman School of Pharmacy in May 2024. She completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Atlantic Health and further developed an interest in critical care throughout the year. She is looking forward to growing as a clinician and learning from the many critical care rotation opportunities at Atlantic Health. In the future, she hopes to practice as a critical care clinical pharmacist.

Postgraduate Year Two (PGY-2) Emergency Medicine

Jolie Schojbert

Dr. Schojbert is originally from Smithtown, NY. She earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry, before pursuing her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in May 2024. This past year, she completed her PGY1 residency at Atlantic Health System, where she discovered her passion for emergency medicine and toxicology.

This year she looks forward to advancing her clinical knowledge and skills, in order to practice as a board-certified emergency medicine clinical pharmacist.
