Atlantic Health System provides a wide range of comprehensive home care and rehabilitation services to help reduce anxiety and stress, and ensure you get the care you need.
Inpatient Rehabilitation
For patients recovering from an injury or surgery, inpatient rehabilitation can help them regain independence before transitioning to an outpatient program or returning home.
Acute Care Rehabilitation
In the event of a major injury, surgery or illness, each of Atlantic Health System’s hospitals – provide expert inpatient rehabilitation services.
Atlantic Health System Outpatient Rehabilitation
After returning home from the hospital setting, you may need outpatient rehabilitation therapeutic services. They are available at a variety of locations. Services include:
- Physical therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Pediatric physical and occupational therapy
- Speech therapy
- Aphasia therapy
- Stroke rehabilitation
- Brainworks cognitive rehabilitation
- Post-rehabilitation exercise
- Hearing testing
- Vestibular and balance rehabilitation
- Concussion rehabilitation
- Hand therapy
- Cancer rehabilitation

Atlantic Visiting Nurse
We provide in-home treatment, management and education to help patients recover from an injury or illness.
Hospice Care
We offer compassionate, dignified palliative and hospice care for people at the end of life and their families.
Atlantic Private Care Services
Our screened, bonded, insured professionals, hand chosen for you or your loved one’s needs, will provide care in homes and facilities.
AtHome Medical
Combining professional services with high quality products, AtHome Medical ensures full support of the patient’s home care needs.
Atlantic Health System home care and rehabilitation services accept Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance plans. Check with your carrier for prior approval.
