CAATE defines the mission of a post-professional athletic training residency to advance the preparation of an athletic training practitioner through a planned program of clinical and didactic education in a specialized area utilizing an evidence-based approach to enhance patient care.
Who can apply to the Atlantic Sports Health Athletic Training Residency Program?
Applicable candidates have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale, board certification (BOC) or eligibility, New Jersey athletic training license or eligibility, CPR/AED certification
What is the salary and benefits for the resident?
Resident Salary: $61,200 not including over-time. Residents also have the opportunity for overtime in the form of covering per diem events for Atlantic Sports Health.

Atlantic Health does not provide assistance with housing or transportation. Having access to a car is required to travel from site to site.
