Pulmonary Support Resources

Properly managing a chronic respiratory illness requires continued care after a hospital stay. That’s why the Respiratory Therapy Department has social workers and nursing care managers who help pulmonary patients and their families secure local health resources. These may include home care, skilled facility care, rehabilitation, medical equipment, hospice and support groups. Our social workers also provide counseling and education on coping with health care challenges.
