Pediatric Residency Program

"Ask the Doc - Feb. 2020"

The Pediatric Residency Program at Goryeb Children’s Hospital, Atlantic Health System, combines the best features of a university program with a community-based children’s hospital setting. We receive more than 3,000 admissions and over 95,000 outpatient visits per year, perform cutting-edge research, and employ more than 100 general pediatric and subspecialty faculty members, many of whom are dedicated clinician-educators.

Residents at Goryeb Children’s Hospital have the opportunity to live in the beautiful and diverse community of historic Morristown, NJ, and work in a state-of-the-art children’s hospital known for its patient- and family-centered approach. Our yearly class size of 12 residents allows us to create individual learning programs for each resident with a degree of mentorship that is unparalleled among regional programs of similar size. In addition, our parent company, Atlantic Health System, is a branch campus of  Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University.

Graduates of our program are regularly accepted to the most competitive fellowships, as well as sought-after practice opportunities. At Goryeb Children’s Hospital, we are dedicated to your education, your growth and your future.
