If you are having a difficult time getting to your medical appointments or around the town to complete daily tasks, the following transportation services may be helpful:

• Atlantic Ambulance
  Provides transportation for both basic life support and advanced life support level car; emergency medical technicians (EMTs) provide medical care during transport.

• Catholic Family & Community Services
  Provides transportation for medical appointments and shopping, with additional assistance as needed. Example: help from home to car. Two to three weeks' notice required.

• Colonial Coach Bus
  Free transportation service provided by the Township of Morris and the Town of Morristown for residents; operates Monday through Saturday (excluding public holidays) between 9:00am and 4:00pm.
  
  
• Davidson Avenue Shuttle (DASH)
  Provides transportation along Davidson Avenue to and from Bridgewater, Bound Brook, South Bound Brook and Somerset on a set route; charges apply.

• Essex County Special Transportation System
  Provides weekday transportation to various destinations in the county, including medical facilities, education and employment sites. They offer specialized dialysis transportation on Saturdays only and religious service transportation on Sundays only. Reservations are required.

• Five Town Regional Dial-A-Ride
  Service is available to people age 55 or older who have no alternate means of transportation. The service is for those residing in Butler, Kinnelon, Lincoln Park, Pequannock Township and Riverdale. Weekday transportation for medical appointments, health needs, nutrition sites, shopping, recreation activities, and visitation.

• Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey
  Provides transportation for Union County seniors whose needs cannot be met by the County Paratransit Service or NJ Transit’s Access Link program.

• Metro Transport
  Provides rides to those with special needs in Essex and parts of Morris and Union counties, in order to attend medical appointments and social needs. Charges do apply; however, no one is denied transport based on inability to pay.

  Morris County's transportation service for senior citizens and people with disabilities provides weekday transportation to various destinations in the county, including medical facilities, education and employment sites; many MAPS vehicles are equipped for people using wheelchairs; service is free, but donations are welcome.

  Provides local transportation (usually within town limits) to seniors and in some cases the disabled, to grocery shopping, malls or local medical appointments.

  Online directory of accessible transportation options for seniors and people with disabilities. Search for different types of providers throughout the state, including public transportation, paratransit services, shuttles, dial-a-ride services, and private transportation companies.
  
  
• NJ Motor Vehicle Commission – Disability Placards and License Plates
  Qualified applicants can receive wheelchair symbol license plates and/or hanging placard authorizing them to park in any parking space with a wheelchair symbol.  Persons with a disability parking privileges are valid for three years and must be certified or re-certified by a medical practitioner as disabled.

• NJ Transit Access Link – ADA Paratransit
  A public transportation service for people with disabilities who are unable to use NJ Transit’s fixed bus routes. Access Link provides a shared ride, curb to curb service that is comparable to bus routes throughout the NJ Transit system.

  The Passaic County Para Transit Program provide transportation for the county’s senior citizens and disabled residents in need of non-emergency rides to medical appointments, shopping centers, county run nutrition and adult day care sites, group work programs. Special lift vans are available to accommodate non-ambulatory individuals.
